It has a mild anti-inflammatory action due to the zinc oxide.
Rosacea-Ltd also contains sulfur. Sulfur is one of the best tolerated topical anti-acne medications for rosacea skin. It has a much greater action on papules and pustules then the metros. In addition, it is indicated for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis. The disks sulfur concentration of 1.5% is a good starting dose. People usually respond beautifully to 0.5 to 2% sulfur -- without irritation. However, at higher concentrations (like 5-10%), sulfur may actually cause facial vasodilation.
Rosacea-Ltd contains no preseratives. There are no alcohols or preservatives!
